Hi Anita what a lovely event this looks, and even more books for my reading list! . This week I am immersed in Nardi Simpson’s Bellburd, so very beautiful and finely observed, transforming how I see Sydney Harbour and conception of life. So rich …
Yep totally feel the same, books getting ever better and my life getting shorter ! ‘What you are looking for in the library’ sounds so lovely , have always wanted to be a book therapist! will go on the pile for Xmas but next up for me is Dirrawadhya. Have been saving it up for my travels through regional NSW, as I like to read books set near where I travel to help me understand where I am and to bring book more alive. ( although this time will be on Kamilaroi Country not Wirradjuri). All best for State Library event next week, sorry I can’t make it.
Hi Sallie, it was a fabulous evening, and I walked away with two books for myself. Started reading WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IS IN THE LIBRARY, by Michiko Aoyama (translated by Alison Watts). 43 pages in and LOVE IT.
I need to get to Nardi's new book over the summer. So many books, so little time. Do you feel the same??

Thank you for your incredible support Sally. Safe travels through regional NSW and I hope the country and stories feed your spirit. X
